In the course of dismantling it is necessary:

- To clear the hinge карданного a shaft of a dirt and oil;

- To remove lock rings of bearings крестовины;

- выпрессовать bearings крестовины on a press or in a vice bronze оправкой which external diameter is a bit less than aperture in a plug. For this purpose оправку it is necessary to establish on a bottom of the case of the needle bearing and выпрессовать the opposite bearing. To turn and выпрессовать other bearing, establishing оправку in a thorn end face крестовины;

- To turn a shaft on 1/4 turns and выпрессовать bearings from ears of the second plug in the same sequence;

- To remove крестовину. To wash out all details карданного the hinge in kerosene and to check up their condition. The worn out details to replace.

Hinge dismantling карданного a shaft established on a shaft of the steering mechanism is similarly spent.
